| Dumb Stuff it’s fun to find out Damon Runyon was a newspaper man and author who is best known for his short stories about and around Broadway, Brooklyn and Midtown, and his depictions of gamblers, hustlers, actors and gangsters. Guys and Dolls is based on two of his stories, The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown and Blood Pressure.
